As a passionate advocate for STEM and community service, I had the incredible opportunity to co-found and serve as the Vice President of the Innovation Science Club at LQD High School. Since April 2025, this role has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my high school journey. Leading a team of 30 driven members, I’ve seen firsthand how innovation and scientific research can be powerful tools not only for personal growth but also for making a tangible difference in the world around us.
Fostering Innovation and Scientific Research
From the beginning, the Innovation Science Club was designed to be a space where curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking could thrive. With a strong emphasis on STEM, our club encouraged members to dive deep into scientific research and innovative problem-solving. We provided a platform for students to explore new technologies, conduct experiments, and collaborate on projects that could have a real-world impact. It was inspiring to watch our members develop their skills and become more confident in their abilities to think like scientists and innovators.
Making an Impact Beyond the Lab
While our research and innovation were at the heart of the club’s activities, we were also committed to giving back to our community. One of the most fulfilling initiatives we undertook was coordinating with our school to donate 10 smart robots to Ba Ria Hospital. These robots were designed to assist patients in the hospital, particularly those with mobility challenges, enhancing their experience and making their stay more comfortable.
Additionally, we organized the donation of 80 gift packages to pediatric patients at the hospital. These packages, filled with toys, school supplies, and essential items, were meant to bring joy and hope to the young patients who were going through tough times. Seeing the smiles on their faces as they received the packages was a reminder of the power of small acts of kindness and the difference they can make.
A Journey of Growth and Giving Back
Looking back on my time as Co-Founder and Vice President of the Innovation Science Club, I am filled with a deep sense of pride. It’s been a journey of growth, both for myself and for the incredible students I’ve had the honor of working with. We’ve learned valuable lessons in teamwork, problem-solving, and the power of science to make a difference in the world. But most importantly, we’ve seen how innovation can be used not just to push the boundaries of knowledge, but to make life better for those who need it the most.
As I look forward to the future, I am excited to continue using the skills I’ve gained through this experience to make an even greater impact—whether it’s through future scientific research, community service, or further innovations that can help improve lives. The journey doesn’t end here, and I am grateful for every moment I’ve spent with my team, turning ideas into action and dreams into reality.
Let’s continue to innovate, inspire, and make a positive difference in the world.
